a. The diversity--so many backgrounds and voices!

a. My mother, and the students
q. What do you want to accomplish this year?
a. To inspire the kids to believe that they can do anything if they commit to it
q. At what point in teaching each year do you feel you have accomplished your goals?
a. by January/February -- most performances -- and the look in the faces of the audience
